Roma Holidaying - Day 1

We woke up early to pack and get ready for Roma. Had a nice surprise at the train station, our tickets was cheaper than what we were told the day before, the cheaper version = the regional train instead of the fancy, more comfortable type. More stops equals saving more money (we didn't plan on anything for the first day of Rome since we were still sore from yesterday (refer previous post), we took the cheaper route. Nearly all locals on this train bound for Roma Termini, no a/c but windows worked fine to compensate for the lack of air. The train ride was pleasant, very green and lush with cute houses on the hills all along the way to Rome, even the air tastes nicer. Again, lots of olives.

We are here!

We got to Rome about 4pm (we had a long waiting time in Napoli) but our host for the bed and breakfast place couldn't check us in until 8.30pm. We ended up in a closeby beer-garden to munch on chips and got us some pizza for dinner while waiting.
Our first Italian Pizza. How much? they go by weigh!
These come with the beer, free. Pizza again, chips (super!) and italian special (Lupino- I think)

Backpacks feel heavier and heavier by the second. I am seriously considering tossing out some shirts (I'll take a pic of the backpack when I get a chance, it's nearly half my size!).
